I want to import my data from another cloud service to my iPhone

I want to use Vivy with my data on another smartphone. What can I do?

Vivy guarantees the highest data security standards. Therefore, all personal data is stored exclusively on your smartphone and is only accessible to you personally.
This data is automatically transferred if you run a complete data transfer when configuring a new smartphone (for example, via iOS "Quick Start" from iPhone to iPhone).
If you want to transfer your Vivy data to another device with a different platform, Vivy offers you the possibility to create a data backup. This backup also allows you to continue using your data even if your smartphone is lost or stolen.

You can find the Data backup function under: My data > Settings > Data management > Data backup

Export Backup

Via export Backup you can create your backup and save it in a secure cloud service (such as iCloud or Google Drive).
To create the backup, it is necessary to encrypt it with a backup password. The backup password can neither be reset nor restored. Please make sure to keep it in a safe place.
To import your backup at any time with another device, we recommend saving it to a secure cloud service (such as iCloud or Google Drive).
The file is created as: "Vivy Data Backup DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM.vivy". The ".vivy" file format can only be opened with the Vivy app.

Import data

When you log in to the Vivy app for the first time with a new device, we offer you the possibility to import your backup directly.

Under: Settings > Data backup > Import data you can also import your backup after the first login. Please note: The data import deletes all already recorded data.

I forgot my backup password. What can I do?

Please keep in mind that the backup password cannot be reset or restored. Please keep it safe.
However, if the password is lost, it is necessary to create a new backup with a new password using your old smartphone.
If your old smartphone is no longer available, there is no way to recover your Vivy health data.

How do I import my data from another storage service to my iPhone?

Third-party storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox are usually not displayed in your iOS share sheet. There are two ways to import your Vivy data to a third-party storage service:

1. You can copy the backup from its current location to iCloud.
2. You can integrate the third-party app as a storage location in your iOS Files app. To do this, open the iOS Files app. Choose: Browse > Settings > Edit. Enable the installed third-party app as a storage location. After that, the storage service should appear in your iOS share sheet.
